Litchfield Bancorp sponsors two employees for Leadership Northwest

This year's Leadership Northwest class includes two Litchfield Bancorp employees - Sarah Better and Stacey Meyers

Litchfield Bancorp has sent at least one employee each year to the Leadership Northwest since the program began in 2004, including Paul McLaughlin, Margret Warner, Deb Telman, Lisa Partrick, Susan Dickinson, and Melissa Dodge. Both Better and Meyers are excited about the program’s opportunities. Of the program, Meyers says  “Our first day of leadership was awesome! I’m really looking forward to learning better ways to communicate with all different kinds of people.” Better stated,  “The class is made up of a good group of people, I’m looking forward to seeing where the program leads us and what types of projects we come up with.”

More About Sarah

Sarah Better joined Litchfield Bancorp in 2000 as a teller and quickly earned a promotion to customer service representative in the Washington office. She was promoted to branch supervisor in 2008 and found time to earn diplomas in three programs through the Center for Financial Training. She is active in the Washington community, currently serving as social chair of the Washington Business Association, a group she’s been involved with for eight years. She is also president of the Litchfield Bancorp Employee Club.

 

 

 

 

More about Stacey

Stacey Meyers started as a teller in 2004 and has worked in both the Litchfield and Washington offices.  In 2006, she began working with the retail support & training groups and joined the audit department in 2009.  She has earned a diploma in Financial Services from the Center for Financial Training and is working on another diploma program in Financial Services Marketing. She has been an officer of the Litchfield Bancorp Employee Club for 6 terms and is always a willing volunteer for bank-sponsored events.

 

 

 

Leadership Northwest is a program created by the northwest CT chamber of commerce and is designed to develop leadership skills through educational sessions in art, culture and finance. The group meets monthly, attends lectures and participates in activities that focus on team building, leadership skills and community involvement.
